Activists prepare for a "Geurilla Vernissage" at the Immigration and Refugee Board offices. The action was in support of Kader Belaouni who has been living in sanctuary for over 2 years to avoid a deportation order.

Marching band kicks off the vernissage.

Activists act as human easels displaying photos of Kader's life in sanctuary.

The crew films Kader at the Church in Pointe St. Charles that has been his home for over 2 years.

Palestinian brothers Fouad and Mohamad Sakr. Both claimed asylum in 2001. While the brothers faced the same threat and had the same story, Fouad was rejected as a refugee while his brother was accepted.
